Conference interpreting

It is especially suited for conferences, conventions and seminars when one or more speakers do not share the language of the audience.

It can be performed in various modes like simultaneous, consecutive or whispered modes and it can take place in person or also remotely, thanks to RSI and RCI (remote simultaneous interpreting & remote consecutive interpreting).

Dialogue interpreting

In principle, dialogue interpreting involves three people: speaker of language A, speaker of language B and interpreter.

There can also be more participants, however the number is usually low because of its very nature, more "intimate". With respect to conference interpreting, DI sees much shorter turn-taking, 1-2 minutes maximum, and a more rapid conversation flow.

Translation

I translate documents in the medical and healthcare fields, websites, CVs, documents which need to be certified in an Italian court of law, and much more.

All translations are performed personally without subcontracting them to third parties, without using automated translation tools, but using instead cutting-edge computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools.

Copy-editing & proofreading

They are the two final steps before publishing for any text either written in the target language or translated.

As a copy-editor, I adapt and polish the final text maintaining the author’s voice and intention; as a proofreader, I correct typos, layout issues, upper and lower casing, paragraphs, punctuation.

I've translated more than 3,000 medical reports into English and interpreted at hundreds of doctor-patient encounters.

Since 2019, I've worked with Spanish leaders in the field at the Jewellery Boutique Show in Vicenza, Italy.

Since 2021, I've had the pleasure of regularly collaborating with the Centro studi e Formazione in Bolzano, Italy.
